This museum-grade paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients.

After a day of snowboarding at Cypress Mountain, the sky cleared and this happened. We were about to head down for the final run when the sunset stopped us. I had camera gear in a backpack — not ideal for a ski hill — but it was worth it.
Cypress Mountain sits in the North Shore Mountains above West Vancouver, at an elevation of about 1,440 metres. On a clear winter day, the views extend across Howe Sound and the Lower Mainland. This image was made in that window after the lifts slow down and before the light disappears entirely — the mountain quiet, the sky doing the work. The snow-covered peaks catch the last colour of the day while the valley below fades into blue.
