This museum-grade paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients.

I was walking through one of Oahu's botanical gardens when the weather changed. Low clouds began rolling over the peaks of the Ko'olau Range, moving fast and low, filling the valleys between the ridges. It looked, as I noted at the time, like a scene from Jurassic Park — which is not a coincidence, since parts of the franchise were filmed in these mountains.
The Ko'olau Range receives some of the highest rainfall in the world on its windward face, which is why the vegetation is so dense and the clouds so persistent. From the botanical garden, the peaks are close enough to feel immediate, and when the clouds come in at this level they change the character of the landscape entirely — the hard edges of the ridgeline softened, the scale harder to read, the whole scene more atmospheric than geographic.
