Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a high-quality inkjet printing process that uses archival inks sprayed onto fine art paper. This method allows for rich, vibrant colours and exceptional detail. Giclée prints are known for their longevity, with some lasting up to 40 years in daylight and up to 200 years in darkness.

All prints are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper, a 100% cotton, acid-free fine art paper with a smooth matte finish. Weighing 308 gsm, this paper provides excellent color reproduction, deep blacks, and a tactile quality that enhances the viewing experience.

All printing and shipping are handled by our trusted partners at The Print Space. Depending on your location, prints will either be shipped from their US, UK, or Germany studios.

Yes, each print is part of a limited edition, with a maximum of 100 editions per size. Once an edition sells out, it will not be restocked. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity featuring a unique hologram sticker and the artist's signature, ensuring its originality and value.

Framing is available for select prints. Available frame options include black, white, or oak finishes. Framed prints come ready to hang, with edge-ground float glass, an acid-free insert, and a sturdy rear panel equipped with hangers. For prints without framing, we recommend consulting with a local framer to select a frame that complements your space.

Every effort is made to ensure your print arrives in perfect condition. If your print is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 15 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

As a general rule, hang single artwork at eye level (60 inches from the floor to the centre of the artwork). If you're hanging your art above furniture, it can be 4-6 inches above the piece. If the art is going above a sofa or console, the piece should be approximately ⅔ width of the furniture.

Paper is sensitive to its surroundings and can be affected by changes in temperature, damp, humidity, and exposure to light. As a general rule with all artwork, avoid direct sunlight, high humidity, and damp walls for best longevity.

We are truly confident that you’ll love your print(s). They’ll uphold the test of time and become a talking point in your household. However, in the event that you'd like to return or exchange your print for a different one of equal value, you have 15 days from the date of delivery to contact us to arrange the exchange. You'll just need to cover the shipping charges.

The print tubes and packaging are extremely tough and capable of surviving the roughest of shipping journeys. However, in the rare event that your print arrives damaged, we will gladly replace it for you free of charge.

Just send an email with an image of the package, print, certificate of authenticity, as well as the order number to hello@richardalam.com and we will arrange the replacement for you. In the case of damaged orders, we'll cover the return shipping and the subsequent replacement print.
