This image was captured during an impromptu stop while driving north on the Oregon Coast Highway. What began as a journey home to Canada became a moment of spontaneous exploration when this deserted beach came into view. With time to spare and the call of the ocean irresistible, the rental car was parked, and the sandy path to the shore beckoned.
